Pick up the A38 following the signs for Torquay. At the English Riviera roundabout carry straight ahead (A380) signposted Torquay. Continue along this road passing a number of large stores including Harveys and McDonalds on the left.

As you pass through some traffic lights the road widens to two lanes by Torre Station. Take the right-hand lane signposted Sea Front (A3022). When you pass the Esso Garage on the left, Bampfylde Road is the 2nd turning on the left.  We are on the right hand side half way up the hill immediately past the crossroads.
