Gerry and Susan offer a warm and friendly welcome to The Haute Epine Guest House in Torquay. Our main priority is to ensure that your stay with us, no matter the duration, is as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
We are ideally situated for all the main amenities such as beach, town, harbour and railway station.
Our prices include a hearty English breakfast which our regular guests will tell you is one of the best they have ever had.
The Haute Epine is a Victorian building dating from 1881, decorated and furnished to a high standard it is an extremely comfortable place to stay where you can relax in a home from home atmosphere.
All our bedrooms have generous hospitality trays, a colour TV, clock radio alarm, heated towel rails and hairdryers. An iron and ironing board are also available for guests use.
Breakfast is served in our informal dining room where, should you wish, you can enjoy a home cooked, two course evening meal.
We also have a comfortable guest lounge where you can relax, read, play games or just watch your favourite television programme whilst enjoying complimentary tea and coffee.
Torquay itself is full of history and interesting characters, both historical and modern. Torre Abbey with its renowned gardens is situated just five minutes walk away, whilst the church which Agatha Christie attended is just a minutes walk from us.
